Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. -Colossians 3:16

Worship (our response to God) is important in the life of every believer, especially corporate worship. One of the ways we worship together as a church is by “singing and making melody to the Lord” (Ephesians 5:19). The Music Ministry at Sager Creek Community Church exists to both glorify God and edify the body of Christ. We value multi-generational worship and incorporate various styles of music. Both of our Sunday services are identical.

God has blessed us with musicians and singers who seek to serve both God and our church with their gifts and talents. Because corporate worship involves the entire church family, our desire is to lead in a way that honors God and encourages everyone to sing praises to the Lord.

An important part of our music ministry is the adult choir which sings throughout the year, including special presentations around Christmas and Easter. We rehearse on Wednesday nights at 6:30 during the school year. All are welcome to participate; no audition is required.

This ministry provides an amazing opportunity for children (K-5th grade) to learn about music and sing praises to God. Sager Kid's Choir meets at 5:00 on Sunday nights during the school year, and periodically sings in corporate worship on Sunday mornings.

Our music ministry could not fully function without the dedicated servants who help with both audio and visuals each week. These men and women help operate the sound board, cameras, visuals, and lights, so that God’s Word can be communicated clearly and effectively.
