CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Our desire is to teach our children God’s Word as we partner with parents in leading their children to develop a relationship with Christ. See the list below for fun opportunities for your kids to learn and grow in God's Word!

 

We work hard to provide a safe, secure, and loving environment for these little ones. Background checks are required for all volunteers who work within our Children's Ministry. For parents of todlers through 4th grade, please visit the check-in desk where you will recieve an identification tag required for pick-up.

BABY NURSERY

Our parents and volunteers who rotate on a regular basis do a great job of caring for these little ones by giving them a safe and loving environment. The nursery is located in the hallway on the way to Child Check-in. You will receive a numbered pager which will alert you if needed. For security reasons, this pager must be presented during pick-up.

TODDLERS

1 & 2 Year Olds

Once babies begin to walk well, this class indroduces a more structured Bible story time, craft, memory verse, snack, and music as well as free play.

 

3 & 4 Year Olds

This class is very hands-on and includes structured play, sensory bins, memory games, Bible story, snacks, and more which help teach the main theme and lesson for the day.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH

5 years – 2nd grade

Sundays: 9:00am

Children's Church utilizes a four year curriculum which progresses chronologically through the Bible. We have a team of teachers who love our Sager Kids and work together each week to present the Bible in exciting ways such as object lessons, games, music, and more.

ROTATING STATIONS

5 years – 2nd grade

Sundays: 10:30am

Children 5 years thru 2nd grade start together in a group to begin learning the main theme, then divide up into age groups and rotate to three different stations: Memorization Station, Bible Station, and Attention Grabber Station. Lastly they come back together for a fun review game.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

3rd & 4th grade

Sundays: 9:00am, 10:30am

3rd & 4th grade Sunday School utilizes a curriculum specifically designed to help kids relate Old and New Testament truths to the cross. God's plan of salvation and God's unconditional love for all mankind unfolds as they discuss creation thru the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our teachers love the kids and are passionate about teaching how the Bible applies to us today. 

KID'S BIBLE CLUB

5 years – 4th grade

Wednesdays at 6:30pm

A fun packed hour of Bible teaching, Scripture memory, and games. Kid's Bible Club meets during our other Wednesday evening activities inlcuding Adult Bible Study and childcare for younger children.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Completed K – 4th grade

Join us each summer for a different themed week of adventure as we discover God's truth through music, skits, games, Bible lessons, and other activities.
