Sager Creek Community Church's Youth Ministry seeks to help students (grades 5-12) grow deeper in their relationships with the Lord by pointing them to God's Word in hopes that they would seek to glorify Him in all they do. The main focus of the Youth Ministry is to challenge each student to live out God's Word in every aspect of their lives. Through verse-by-verse Bible studies, small groups, worldview studies, Disciple Now, summer camp, and other activities, we desire to see the students develop a real and lasting relationship with Christ. Our hope is that when a student graduates out from the Youth Ministry, they have been prepared in a real way to continue to grow deeper in their walk with the Lord. Kyle Weir serves the High School Youth and Nathan Nall serves the Crew & Middle School Youth.

Our Youth Ministry is categorized by the following grades:

● Crew: 5th-6th

● Middle School: 7th-8th

● High School: 9th-12th

CREW & MIDDLE SCHOOL

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sundays at 10:30am (2nd Service)

Sunday Schools provide the students an opportunity to study through various books of the Bible and topics. The Crew/MS guys are taught by Gregg Murray, and the Crew/MS girls are taught by Jerrie Price.

SUNDAY NIGHTS

Sundays at 6:00pm

Crew/MS Sunday Nights are focsued on a topical Bible study that pairs up with our Wednesday night study and also includes fellowship time, snacks, and games. Students meet in the gym, then head to their classes.

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS

Wednesdays at 6:00pm (summers off)

Crew and Middle School Wednesday Nights are focsued on a verse-by-verse study through a book of the Bible. It is amazing to watch students of this age engage and be excited about diving into God's Word. Throughout the school year we will have after after school activities. These events will include food and games, so watch the youth calendar and announcements for details. After these activities we have normal Bible study.

WINTER BLAST

Winter Blast is our legendary all-nighter. Each winter we put together an evening focused on presenting a gospel-focused message and connecting the students to the youth staff. The main activity changes each year; in the past we have gone to High Rise, Lokomotion, and Incredible Pizza.

CREW/MS SUMMER CAMP

June 21-24, 2018

Crew & MS Summer Camp may look a little different than what you might be used to. We rent out a camp facility and put on our own camp. This allows us to custom tailor the worship, teaching, and everything else to fit our students. Dates and details can be found on the youth calendar or in the weekly bulletin each summer.

SUNDAY NIGHTS

High School Sunday Nights are focsued on a verse-by-verse study through a book of the Bible. The students also enjoy fellowship time, prayer groups, a coffee bar, and games. Sunday Night Youth meets up in the Loft.

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS

Wednesdays at 8:00pm (summers off)

This study which meets at Kyle & Dawn's house provides a unique opportunity to discuss various topics pertinent to the youth. A 4 year rotation of content allows every student that comes through the Youth Ministry to cover each area. These studies include a survey to understand and evaluate worldviews, other religions, and cults, and how the truth of Christianity stands up. Lastly we cover how the Bible was put together and how to study it.

D-NOW

Disciple Now is a weekend retreat that takes place in the winter or early spring. The students stay in various host homes for the weekend. The best way to describe D-Now is that we take a week of summer camp and pack it into a weekend. There is worship, teaching, games, activities, and food.
